Description: The simple nose is a little elusive to start but then offers pear drops, roses, vanilla, syrup and cereal in hessian sacks. It’s sweet with a chilli heat to taste neat, then taste builds with vanilla, marzipan, a little orange and grapefruit with fresh wood offering a little bitterness. Water really brings it to life. Aromas are floral and perfumed turning to gentle citrus, vanilla, custard, oranges, fresh patisseries and coconut. The taste is light, slightly creamy and mouth coating. There are gentle spices, vanilla and fresh tobacco. It’s satisfyingly mellow with a slight bitterness to counter the pleasing sweetness.
